We’re not promising that scrubbing the grill will become one of your favorite summer activities, but there’s something so satisfying about an easy, quick clean. Not to mention that cleaning your grill—whether you opt for a gas or charcoal grill—is essential. Lodged-on grime can lead to hazardous flare-ups, slow down the grilling time and impart a less-than-pleasant taste to your food. Steaming doesn’t take much elbow grease for the BBQ Scrub Daddy to work its magic, so cleaning your grill becomes a simple item to check off a to-do list.
This product isn’t just more efficient, it’s also safer. Experts have warned that the bristles on traditional wire brushes can break off while cleaning, potentially ending up in your food and, if swallowed, can lead to emergency surgery. Product Testing Team’s Tests

The Grill Daddy brush performed very well against competitors. “Wow! Excellent performance on a hot grill—two swipes and done,” says Product Tester Sheri Kaz. “This cleaned a cold grill fast and easy, too, bringing back the metallic shine of the grates on a charcoal grill.”
Testers aren’t big fans of the bulky design that makes it difficult to clean the edges of a round grill or get under the upper grates of a gas grill. That said, they were surprised to report that the brush worked just as well on a cold grill as it did on a hot grill, though using it on a hot grill required much less elbow grease.
One Month Update
Team member Jessi Rhine volunteered to put the grill brush to the test long-term. After about a month, which consisted of a few uses, she highly recommends reaching for this grill brush. “The Grill Daddy has two parts to hold onto.
